Circadian Rhythms have shared another song off of the band’s forthcoming record A Passing Thought. “Nice To Be” has a jaunty 60s feel with playful horns, chorused vocals and whimsical auxiliary instrumentation.  Listen and download below.

New Englanders Mark Mandeville and Raianne Richards are the subject of Folkadelphia this week, with a session that will transport you to the up-country coast with their clarinet / guitar duets and wonderfully balanced harmonies.  Stream and download the full session below.

No Stranger is prepping a new record to be released next year and shared a new song with us in his Key Studio Session this week.  The solo project of Glenside-based Jonathan Cooney, No Stranger harkens back to the early 2000s acoustic emo of Bright Eyes and Elliot Smith.  Listen to “Great Grey Towers” below and get the full set here.

Chicago musician Elijah has a catchy hit with his new single “Poison,” his solo offering to the electronic singer-songwriter world.  The song is sonically spacious while still wrapping tightly around you, falling in line with The Neighbourhood with songwriting that feels like Citizen Cope.

Canadian synth rock band Stars have released a new record called No One Is Lost Now and celebrated the new LP with a free sampler via NoiseTrade.  By downloading the tour EP you’ll get two tracks from the new album, one track from their 2012 full-length and two remixes.  Check it out below and see the band live this Wednesday, November 12th at Union Transfer.
