Toronto hardcore punk group Fucked Up have just announced an exciting new tour that will hit Philadelphia in late June. The group is playing exclusively from the Zodiac series of 12″‘s they’ve been releasing for over seven years now. In addition, they have decided to add members for their live performances – fellow Canadian punk trio Doomsquad, notching them to up to a 9-person band.

The shows will feature some of Fucked Up’s music that has never before been featured in live sets, proving that this won’t be a show to miss. The Philly stop hits International House on June 28th and to amp it up even more, the band this week released their edgy new track “California Cold,”an 8 minute long transformative piece that begins simply enough with fuzzy guitar riffs and Damian Abraham’s raspy howls but later takes a psychedelic turn with vintage synths and echoing, distant guitar and flute lines.

Give a listen to the new track by heading over to Stereogum’s feature and find more information on their show this summer here.
