Back in January we were graced with Dylan Jane’s delicate and sincere sound for a studio session for The Key. We’re happy to hear from her again as part of Friday night’s folksy /rootsy lineup for the second night of Key Fest.
Her new music video for “Land and Sea” shows how she is a multidimensional musician: Jane started out as a guitarist, and even though her music is gentle, its moving arrangements demand attention.
The track opens with the lyric “One day we’ll return to the earth / Lay side by side there in the dirt,” and it may sound like an ode to yesterday’s celebration of Earth Day, but it’s from her latest LP, Oct. 2014’s From An Island, which brought forth her Americana sound that’ll linger in your head all day.
