Watch an anthemic new video by Frank Turner, “The Next Storm”
UK folk and punk influenced singer-songwriter Frank Turner has shared the first new song from his forthcoming album, Positive Songs For Negative People. Recorded with his band The Sleeping Souls, the album was produced by Butch Walker in Nashville, and is out on August 7th.
“The Next Storm” is one of two new songs that Turner has digitally released from his new album. The video stars UFC fighter CM Punk along with Turner and The Sleeping Souls performing in a boxing ring at the Franklin St. Gym in Chicago. With a rallying cry of “rejoice, rejoice,” the upbeat, anthemic tune finds Turner lyrically rising above adversity with optimism and hope. “The Next Storm” is a perfect example of what Turner does so well.
