It takes a lot of work to make the XPoNential Music Festival happen every year. The days are long, sometimes stressful, and it’s massively important to keep your sense of humor about you. This is what WXPN afternoon host Dan Reed had in mind (we think) when he grabbed videographer Meredith Edlow on Sunday afternoon and roamed the festival grounds bothering people.
Over the course of the three-minute video below, you’ll see Dan giving an earful to his coworkers: Roger La May, XPN’s general manager, as well as program director Bruce Warren and events producer Paul Severin (“SUPPOSEDLY the busiest man at the XPoNential Music Festival” Reed bellows when he spots him taking a break in air conditioning). But he also corners people from LiveNation Philly, The Lone Bellow, Indre Recording and more.
It’s hysterical, and gives a behind-the-curtain look at life at XPNFest. And, for that matter, XPN in general. Check it out below.
