Free at Noon guest Ezra Furman covers LCD Soundsystem’s “I Can Change”
This week’s Free at Noon performer, Ezra Furman, just shared his cover of LCD Soundsystem’s “I Can Change” – a great song from their final album This Is Happening. The recording is part of a five-song covers EP Furman released alongside his latest release Perpetual Motion People; also featured is Beck’s “Devil’s Haircut,” The Replacements’ “Androgynous” and Arcade Fire’s “Crown of Love.”
The acoustic breakdown of LCD’s dance-punk love song provides for an interesting take, and it is certainly a must listen.
