Phanart, a community of artists inspired by the music and tours of legendary jam band Phish, is bringing a collection of more than 20 artists to the World Cafe on Wednesday, August 12th to display the artists’ various interpretations of Phish through their work. The event, titled A World Cafe Live One (a nod to Phish’s 1995 album A Live One) comes smack dab in the middle of the band’s two night stand at The Mann on August 11th and 12th. Unfortunately tickets for both shows are already sold out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t head over to the World Cafe to check out some fantastic Phish art.

The free exhibition will be highlighted by a performance from Holly Bowling, who will be playing solo piano renditions of classic Phish songs during the art show. Many of the pieces can only be acquired exclusively at the art show. A special craft beer list featuring Phish-inspired beers will be available, with the list hand picked by Beeradelphia director Michael Lawrence.

You can get more info on who specifically will be participating in the art show here. For those who have tickets to the show that night, The Mann is just a short 10 minute drive from World Cafe Live, so why not scoop up some phenomenal Phish-inspired art on your way to the show? Check out Bowling’s famous recreation of “Tweezer” below.
