STS in the “Trunk of My Computer” video

Maybe it’s the beats he chooses or the lyrical references he makes, but Philly’s STS seems like he has it in him to geek out over record shopping – he’s a definite music-loving, crate-digging kinda guy. So it’s appropriate that his latest video has him hitting up a couple record shops across Philly.

The song is “Trunk of my Computer” from his collab with long-running Philly electronic artist RJD2, STS x RJD2, and it’s pretty much a jam about the hustle, about getting yourself heard in a sea of music. Appropriately, STS’ first intention when he steps into Milkcrate in Fishtown and Main Street Music in Manayunk is getting his record stocked.

But of course he can’t help but shop while he’s there; watch for a great scene where he gets a hi-five from Main Street Music manager Jamie, who stands behind a register sporting an old-school WXPN sticker. Check out the video below.
