Philly indie folk four piece Wild Rompit recently recorded a Paper Box Session as they gear up for their show at the Ruba Club this Friday. The soulful set features one electric guitar, two acoustics, and a bass centered around two mics, creating a perfect setting for Wild Rompit to express their anthemic rock sound.

The Philly-based group features Blair Ollendorf on guitar and vocals, Brandon Bost on guitar, bassist Paul Impellizeri (of Cheerleader fame) and drummer Sean Donaghy taking guitar in this clip. They first gained momentum with their 2011 EP Brotherhood, and released their latest LP, Spirit Moves, back in 2013. The band plays the Ruba Club this Friday on a lineup with Dollys and NarK as well. You can check out the Facebook event page for more info on the 21+ concert. Watch Wild Rompit’s Paper Box Session below.
