It’s the first day of September, but it’s still a good time for “August Song.” This late summer feel-good track comes to us courtesy of Philly rapper Tiani Victoria. Her debut mixtape Hard Candy dropped earlier this year and was quite the treat for Philly hip hop fans. On this follow-up jam, Victoria spits about the pros and cons of having no strings attached over an infectious Digital Crates dance beat. I kind of wish it was released earlier this summer to go along with barbecues and the peaking heat, but this track is a great way to finish out the month (and season) nonetheless.
