Springtime is right around the corner, and you know what that means: Not having to wear a coat to venues. With a lot of great offerings as the spring concert season ramps up – including our Red Bull Sound Select Gig with Good Old War on March 17th, and Bonnie Raitt at Verizon Hall on March 24th – Here are The Key’s six can’t-miss Philly shows for March, in chronological order.

1: On March 3rd, Eryn Allen Kane, Stephen, Axel Flovent, and Hemming will be performing at Milkboy as part of Communion Music‘s Philly residency. The night will also feature a DJ set from The Key’s John Vettese. For more information, check out the link here.

2: WXPN welcomes Leon Bridges at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 6th, to play songs from his fantastic debut Coming Home. Check him out here before he plays Roots Picnic this summer. 3: WXPN welcomes Electro-legends New Order are playing at The Tower Theater on Saturday, March 12th. Philly is one of the few dates the band will be playing for their upcoming tour to promote their most recent release, Music Complete. For tickets, go here.

4: Curtis Cooper is holding an album release show for his debut solo record, Laughing In Line, at Johnny Brenda’s on Tuesday, March 15.  Also performing will be Abi Reimold with a full band, Emmett Drueding, and Julia Rainer. For tickets and more information, follow the link here.

5: It’s a Philly double-header of Dr. Dog and Hop Along at The Fillmore on Thursday, March 17th. The Dogs are on tour to play songs from their new/old album The Psychedelic Swamp, and Hop Along is joining them in celebration of the success fromPainted Shut.For tickets and more information, follow the link here.

6: Philly psych rockers Mock Suns are gearing up to release their new recordStay True on March 8th, and they will be playing at Johnny Brenda’s on Saturday the 19th to hold a release party. Also performing will be Weekender and Sun Hat. For more information and tickets, follow the link here.
