Wander the city with Free Cake For Every Creature in “Talking Quietly Of Anything With You”
Philly indie-pop quartetFree Cake For Every Creature have shared the video for the title track from their upcoming album, Talking Quietly Of Anything With You.
Directed by Craig Scheihing – the Philly filmmaker you can read more about in our interview here – the video shows singer-songwriter Katie Bennett walking around the city in quiet wonder. The song, which was inspired by Bennett’s move from upstate New York to Philadelphia, observes the subtle niceties that the city has to offer while she wears headphones, takes pictures, and pets dogs. The band has previously shared the songs “For You” and “First Summer In A New City.”
Free Cake will be holding their release show for Talking Quietly on April 16th at Everybody Hits with Hello Shark, Addie Pray, and Microsoft Paint. For tickets and more information, check out the XPN Concert Calender.
