We caught them at Firefly, and now Civil Twilight returns to the region to play the Foundry over at The Fillmore. Just this month they put out a live album, following up last year’s Story of an Immigrant. Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, the band last played Philly in November when they stopped by Union Transfer. Check out the title track of Story of an Immigrant and head to the XPN Concert calendar for more info on tonight’s show.

Philly psychedelic faves Myrrias headline Ortlieb’s tonight. They stopped by for a Key Studio Session last year and showed us their band is much more than a supergroup (all four bandmates come from some well known acts). The show comes on the heels of last year’s All Alone, which you can find below. Also playing tonight are Amy Klein and Valley Exit. For tickets to the 21+ show, click here.

Johnny Brenda’s hosts Philly experimentalists Grimace Federation tonight. The guys are tight with Aesop Rock, as they’ve collaborated on several occasions over the years. Last year they put out a 12″ called “The Measure In Mixture” where Aesop supplied a couple of remixes. You can listen to its title track below, and get all the info you need on tonight’s 21+ gig here. Also playing are Agent Moosehead and Air is Human.
