It’s been over a year since Oldermost released It’s Difficult To Know Anything At All, so when singles start trickling out of the dreamy Americana outfit’s camp it’s a treat. The latest is “Finally Unsure,” a blazing song that follows early August tune “Honey With Tea” with a satisfying, Wilco-esque delivery against a cinematic backdrop.

When asked if the new material means a new record is on the way, the band gave the following seemingly promising reply:

No specific details to announce yet, but our single “Honey with Tea” definitely hints at the sonic and thematic elements of a larger project that we are currently undertaking and we are definitely closer to the finish line than the starting line and very excited to finish strong and share with the world.

If the aforementioned “Honey With Tea” hints at something larger in the works, then “Finally Unsure” certainly builds upon that hint. It opens like a sunrise, steadily illuminating more and more of itself with each instrumental addition until what we have is nothing short of a spectacular, bright song.

Listen to “Finally Unsure” below and revisit “Honey With Tea” here.
