If you are looking for new music, but aren’t sure exactly what you are looking for, then this new song from Philadelphia quartet Purples is just for you. The five-minute “Evaporate” features samples of opera singing, dogs barking, an accordion, and applause — a little something for everyone.

The band is known at this point for not quite fitting into any one genre. But Purples creates music that isn’t made to be explained, it’s meant to be heard and experienced in the moment.
