Watch Mitski slay on Colbert with “Your Best American Girl”

Earlier this week, badass indie-rocker Mitski played her introspective hit “Your Best American Girl” on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert with the house band Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

Mitski’s most recent album Puberty 2 was released via Dead Oceans records last June, catapulting her into the public eye. She is playing at The First Unitarian Church on Saturday, November 19th, and the show is sadly sold out. I feel cruel dangling this missed opportunity in front of you guys, but you at least need to be aware that the City of Brotherly love will be graced by the presence of folk-rock royalty on that day.
