As an end-of-semester-send off, Villanova University’s student-run radio station WXVU and the Campus Activities Team have announced the line-up for their Philly Underground Music Festival. Open to all ID-carrying college students in the Philadelphia area, the December 8th event will take place on Villanova’s campus and feature a solo headlining slot by Alex G, supported by Weekender, Abi Reimold, and Curtis Cooper.

Haverford native Alex G is just off of a pair of tours with Built to Spill / Hop Along and Brandon Can’t Dance / LVL UP in support of last year’s Beach Music LP, and even opened up for Courtney Barnett in Colorado earlier this month. Meanwhile, Weekender, Reimold, and Cooper are working on follow-up material to their own stand-out 2016 releases.

Admission is free, but donations to Musicians On Call will be accepted at the door. Find out more information here and check out the acts below. Those of us without active college IDs can see Curtis Cooper at Everybody Hits on December 28th.
