Headlining a fundraiser for the Greater Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition, Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee performed a delightfully eclectic collection of new songs and old to a sold-out crowd last night at Johnny Brenda’s. The first show of a several-week tour with Philadelphia’s Mary Lattimore, Waxahatchee charmed fans with an intimate, solo performance spanning her discography.

Classically-trained harpist Mary Lattimore also captivated the crowd with experimental, electronically-charged numbers, riding on waves of dissonance and color. Combining robust vocals, gritty guitar and peddled percussion, Molly Fischer of Hot Tears gave a commanding performance as a one-person band.

Proceeds from the sold-out show will go directly to The Greater Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition.
