Porchfest announces kickoff event to connect West Philadelphians with porches and artists to perform on them
Registration is now open for the second annual Porchfest, happening in West Philly on Saturday, June 3rd. As we reported last month, the day-long event will feature dozens of musical acts performing on the beautiful and spacious front porches situated along the Baltimore Ave corridor.
For those interested in hosting or performing but without a band or porch to do so, an artist/host meet-and-greet will be held at The Art Church at 52nd and Webster on Saturday, April 22nd. Prospective volunteers can also sign up at the meet-and-greet, which will act as the official kick-off event and feature live music from Porchfest bands.
