On September 23rd, soul revivalist Charles Bradley passed away after a battle with cancer. Bradley’s vintage rasp will be immortalized in the soul history books and his charismatic energy will continue to touch the hearts of anyone who has heard his music.
Since the beginning of his career, Bradley has been a signee of soul revivalist heavyweight Daptone Records. Recently, Daptone has released a seriously touching video that follows Bradley through a short trip to Vienna where he gets inspired by a beautiful middle-aged church in the heart of the city. The four minute tribute video effectively shows the late Bradley’s piety, positivity, and compassion. The world lost a great voice and an even better man in Bradley and Daptone does a great job in remembering the soul legend in the video below.
