Soccer Mommy, the project of Sophie Allison, was in town recently opening for Jay Som, and now they’ll headline their own gig tonight at Everybody Hits. Past Life and Witch Bomb also play. Soccer Mommy, known for their “chill but kinda sad bedroom-pop jams,” released Collection in August; listen to standout track “Out Worn” below. Find tickets and more information on tonight’s show on the XPN Concert Calendar.

Bob Dylan takes the stage at the Tower Theater tonight for the second of his two consecutive Philly shows. We last heard from Dylan when he released the three-disc, 30-track Triplicate in March, and he was in the news recently after being awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature. Find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
Long-running rock band Modern English headline Johnny Brenda’s tonight with support from The Veldt. Though they’ve been long-regarded as a one hit wonder for the very catchy “I Melt With You,” Modern English released a new album, Take Me to the Trees, last year. Find tickets and more information on tonight’s show on the XPN Concert Calendar.
