You may have caught Petal in stunning solo form recently at that fantastic show with Julien Baker and Half Waif, and now the Scranton-based project of Kiley Lotz returns to Philly for another solo performance — this time on a smaller-scale, at Everybody Hits, but the show is sure to be no less beautiful and even more intimate than it was on the big stage. Born Without Bones, Super American and Tombo Crush will also play the Home Outgrown Presents gig. Petal’s latest release is the Comfort EP, which includes a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs.” Listen below and find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.

The Districts‘ upcoming New Year’s Eve double header at Johnny Brenda’s sold out in record time, but if you missed out on tickets you can still catch the Philly favorites tonight — all it takes is a short road trip out to Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. They’re headlining a stacked lineup of Philly acts, including Abi Reimold, Friendship and Snow Villain. The Districts released their third album, Popular Manipulations, in August. Prep for the show by reading a recap of their homecoming Union Transfer gig here and find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.

Philly’s own A.M. Mills tends to frequent Ortlieb’s when he plays hometown shows, and the alt-country singer-songwriter will return to the favorite venue tonight for a show with Mark Lanky. Mills surprise-released an EP, called Window Box, just a few days ago. Listen below and find tickets and more information on tonight’s show over on the XPN Concert Calendar.
