Tonight’s Concert Pick: John Doe at Boot and Saddle

John Doe may have the most anonymous of names, but his music is something not to be ignored. Known as a member of the formative punk band X, Doe is currently out on the road celebrating his most recent album album The Westerner and will make a stop at Boot & Saddle tonight for an intimate solo show. Doe’s taken on a variety of roles throughout his extensive career, which includes over 50 film and television appearances in addition to his 10 solo albums, the latest of which is described as “psychedelic soul music from the Arizona desert.” Stephen Maglio of The World Takes opens tonight’s show.
