Watch Beck’s new “Colors” video, catch him at Festival Pier this summer
Like its title should suggest, Beck‘s new video for “Colors” is certainly bright. But the wild colors — royal blue and sunshine yellow — aren’t the only thing that make it stand out. Beck enlisted filmmaker Edgar Wright, director of Baby Driver, for the making of the video, and actress Alison Brie stars in it alongside the musician. With celebrity appearances, elaborate choreography, and those eye-popping colors, the video accomplishes what Beck does best — standing out with a heavy dose of quirky flair.
“Colors” is the title track from Beck’s latest album, which is filled with upbeat danceable tunes that will come alive this summer when the L.A.-based artist plays Festival Pier on July 20 with Glass Animals.
