Josh Ritter returns with the urgent single “Old Black Magic” and a Keswick show in May
Singer-songwriter Josh Ritter was looking to push himself artistically with his latest batch of songs, so he teamed up with acclaimed Americana artist Jason Isbell to produce Fever Breaks, his new album due out April 26th.
After detailing the collaboration in a Rolling Stone feature story earlier this month, Ritter gave fans a teaser of the new album today with “Old Black Magic,” a rambling rocker where Ritter sings about faith and true love with urgency over rumbling amplifiers and a fierce backbeat.
