Full Bush, Vilebred, Babe Grenade and more will play the 6th annual BrainFest at Connie’s
The annual BrainFest benefit event will return this year on May 11 for a full day of food, games, music and awareness. Hosted at Connie’s Ric Rac, the event will feature a stellar lineup of local acts, and has set the ambitious goal of raising $10,000 for the American Brain Tumor Association, the first and only national organization committed to providing education and funding research on brain tumors.
Over a dozen area artists will perform throughout the day, and from post-punk outfit Full Bush to experimental rockers Vilebred to scene newcomers Babe Grenade, there’s enough variety to keep folks entertained all day and night with a cross-section of Philly-made tunes.
A $10 donation is encouraged, and all proceeds will benefit the American Brain Tumor Association. Find more information on the event’s Facebook page and check out the full lineup below.
