We don’t know much about Beck‘s new album Hyperspace other than that it’ll be released “at an as yet undetermined point in the space time continuum,” according to a press release. But the enigmatic songwriter has shared the forthcoming record’s first single, “Saw Lightning,” on which he plays acoustic slide guitar and harmonica.

Beck wrote and produced the track with Pharrell Williams, who appears on drums and keys and also contributed the mumbles you hear in the background that, along with the jangly instrumentals, give the song a feeling of controlled chaos. Hyperspace will be Beck’s 14th album, and the follow-up to 2017’s Colors.

Beck will play the BB&T Pavilion with Cage The Elephant on August 21; tickets are on sale now. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
