You’re going to be playing Teef‘s “Desire” all summer. The track is an addicting piece of velvety hip hop, with production by Dray Yard production will transport you to a luxurious lounge where Teef’s flow will put you right at ease. The chorus, sung by Teef and guest vocalist Ntive Flora, is undeniably sexy. After just one listen you’ll be craving Teef and Flora’s harmonies for the rest of the day.

Teef, born Lateef-Shakir, was made to be a musician. His grandfather is music legend Antoine “Fats” Domino and his mother is singer Karen Domino-White. Music is quite literally in his blood. Teef started officially making music in 2014, and has been working consistently ever since. He has collaborated with the likes of E1 Beats, Fess Gotchu, Sage Laszlo, Elissa Janelle Velveteen, Reef the Lost Cauze, and E Dubble.

Last June he shared a free download of his album Hip Hop On Purpose II. Included on the project is a touching collaboration with Teef’s mother. The twelve-track album demonstrates Teef’s confidence as a performer and willingness to imbue his work with personal experiences. If “Desire” is any indication, Teef is just getting better and better.

Check out the track below. Teef plays the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Arts Festival on Saturday, May 11th; more information can be found here.
