Sudan freestyles about success and self-love on Instagram
Philly rapper Sudan has begun teasing fans on his Instagram, getting them ready for what he has in store next. His two most recent minute-long snippets, “Narcissus” and “Synergy,” showcase the MC rapping about success, and further spreading his narrative of love that he laid out in his last full-length project, Pay Me In Love.
Sudan has been on the grind for some time now, first appearing on the scene with “Away,” back in 2013. Even back then, the MC showed promise and had us eager to see where he would go next. Now in 2019, Sudan has begun teasing his next project.
On his first snippet, “Synergy,” Sudan brings a feel-good attitude and show-boating lyrics as he is seen strutting around the city, declaring it his “magnum opus” in the hook. Conversely, his second snippet “Narcissus” is a look into Sudan’s mind, as he raps to himself in the mirror. “Trapped in my mental, I need to get out, tell me who sent you and what they about,” he raps on one side as the mirror image responds. The snippets look promising and are pointing towards another album relating to love from Sudan. Whatever it may be about, we certainly are looking forward to it.
