Watch DJ Haram’s massive Boiler Room set, listen to “Gemini Rising” from her new EP Grace
DJ Haram‘s newest release Grace is set to drop July 5th, coming in immediately on the heels of her recent Mixed Berries EP. As a warmup, the Philly artist tripped down to Washington, D.C. to deliver a stellar Boiler Room set.
As we see in the video, the set is a nonstop party, full of an assortment of sounds in constant motion, with DJ Haram bringing her usual mix of Middle Eastern sonic influences together with jittery Jersey and Baltimore Club vibes to create a one-of-a-kind experience. The crowd looked ecstatic and vibrant, one crowd member even holding up a sign that read “I’m partying with DJ Haram on Ramadan.”
In addition to the Boiler Room party, DJ Haram released her newest single, “Gemini Rising,” an energetic, percussion-laden banger. A booming bass bounces all throughout the track, supporting the jolting rhythms that shoot through the eardrums. Complex rhythms appear yet again as a brooding synth lines wander different sections.
