The Menzingers will return with their sixth album this fall. The local punk-rock favorites just announced that Hello Exile will be released on October 4 via Epitaph, and their lead single “Anna” is out now. After a show in Lancaster, PA with Queen of Jeans at The Chameleon Club this Friday, they’ll return on November 29, playing a show at Franklin Music Hall with Tigers Jaw and Culture Abuse.

Hello Exile follows The Menzingers’ 2017 album After The Party. The band returned to producer Will Yip’s Conshohocken studio to record the new album. “That’s the longest amount of time we’ve ever worked with Will,” vocalist Greg Barnett said in a press release. “We wanted to make sure these stories didn’t get lost in the music, so we kept it to a lot of room sounds with the guitar and bass and drums.”

The video for “Anna” is out now and features hazy footage of lonely Philly streets as the band sings, “I have so much to tell ya / Please come back to Philadelphia / This place ain’t the same without you Anna.” Watch below. Tickets for The Menzingers’ Philly show go on sale this Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
