After a successful run of shows last August, Cherry-Veen Zine returns to Ortlieb’s to host another residency next month. The Philly music scene-focused zine is published by Kristen Levine and Paige Walter, and highlights not only local musicians but also the behind-the-scenes folks who help make the scene what it is.

For their Ortlieb’s residency, Levine and Walter have lined up a variety artists from the area for three free shows. Julian, the project of music photographer Julia Leiby, will join singer-songwriter Curtis Cooper for the first show on Wednesday, February 12. The next week’s show pairs up singer/songwriter/producer Fruut and bedroom pop project Tate, followed by heavier bands Screamcloud and Hauntress on the 26th.

All shows are free. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
