In light of concerns about the spread of coronavirus disease, the University of Pennsylvania has called for the suspension of events with 100 or more people through April 17.  This impacts WXPN events — including Free At Noon concerts.

Starting with the Friday, March 13 Jonathan Wilson concert, all XPN Free At Noon performances will be closed to the public through April 17. WXPN is working with the artists currently scheduled for the upcoming Free At Noon appearances so that we may provide a broadcast of the live performance including video when possible.  Stay tuned for details each week about how you can listen and watch.

The concert programming at World Cafe Live will continue as scheduled. If you have questions about any of their shows, you can reach out to them via their website, or call 215-222-1400.

“Our concern first and foremost is for the health and well being of our community of members, volunteers, artists, and staff,” says XPN General Manager Roger LaMay. “We appreciate your understanding of these changes.  WXPN will continue to monitor the situation and make future adjustments as warranted. We will keep you updated as changes occur.”

Whether as a respite from the news or a place to connect with likeminded fans, as always, the music programming will be there for you — on the radio and online 24/7.
