As the year winds down, we’re continuing our look back at the music of these past twelve months with an ongoing series of XPN Best of 2020 deep dives. Today, XPN Morning Show host Kristen Kurtis shares some of her favorite hits and deep cuts from the past year.

For her penultimate on-air shift for the year 2020, Kristen Kurtis of the XPN Morning Show played a two-hour set of her favorite music of the past year: 26 songs from 25 artists that ranged from modern rock to soul to folk to Afrobeat.

“Some of these you’re familiar with,” Kurtis told listeners. “Other ones I was worried got lost in the radar, things i was really enjoying in my personal time. I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you before we say goodbye to this year, and start a new year of music discovery together.”

Listen to the show and check out Kristen Kurtis’ 2020 playlist below.
