Ali Awan will release his new Moon Mode EP on Born Losers Records

Ali Awan will return this spring with a new EP, Moon Mode, and a new home on local Philly label Born Losers Records, who this week announced plans release the new music. “Have been a fan of the label for a long time and look forward to working with them,” Awan writes.

Awan has spent the pandemic working on new music, some studio-style recordings with friends and some at-home recordings born out of rough ideas. According to the label, his new EP will feature the laid-back, hazy psych rock we’ve come to know and love.

Moon Mode comes out June 11. The first single will be released next month. Until then, revisit Ali Awan’s “Cherry Pits” single that came out last year.
