The virtual 2021 NON-COMMvention begins tonight and for the next three days presents live performances broadcasting on WXPN from all around the world.

The event gets underway at 7 p.m. EST with a set from Chicago singer-songwriter Neal Francis, and also features sets from rootsy Memphis artist Valerie June, experimental indie favorites Tune-Yards, and the country trio of Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, and Jon Randall. Tomorrow night features Deep Sea Diver, Sam Evian, Bartees Strange, and The Wallflowers.

NON-COMM 2021 also features two Free at Noon doubleheader performances: one international on Thursday, May 6th featuring Songhoy Blues performing from Mali and Tamar Aphek performing from Israel, and one on Friday, May 7th featuring sets by The Lone Bellow and Amythyst Kiah.
