Perennial indie favorites Yo La Tengo announced a fall tour this week that takes them around North America and briefly overseas, with a sweet central cluster of early fall dates in the Philly region.

The 35-years-running noisemakers will play Union Transfer in Philadelphia on the last day of summer – Tuesday, September 21st. They’ll then dip down to Delaware for a performance at Arden Gild Hall on Wednesday, September 23rd, before returning home to New Jersey for a performance at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on Friday, September 24th. Tickets for all three shows go on sale today at 10 a.m.

The band released two projects last year during the COVID-19 pandemic — the ambient / drone collection We Have Amnesia Sometimes, as well as the (mostly) covers collection Sleepless Night. Stream both and check out the band’s tour schedule below, and find the latest on Philly regional concert news at the XPN Concert Calendar.
