Drexel’s student-run radio station WDKU is closing in on the first 24 hours of its annual Electronic Music Marathon, which runs nonstop through Monday and raises money for a handful of important community nonprofits in Philly.

This year, the event comes with a headlining party: at 10 p.m. ET, the EMM shifts gears to a secret undisclosed location for an in-person Late-Nite Get Down headlined by the legendary DJ Sega.

This Tuesday, Sega popped in over at XPN Local to spin a short mix and give listeners a taste of the energy he’ll bring to the EMM party tonight; something he describes as a mix between Baltimore club and NJ culb. He also talked about his connection with KDU and the event, and why he sees it as an important meeting ground to nurture the electronic music community.

Listen below, and get tickets for the Late-Nite Get Down here. KDU’s 2021 EMM raises money for The Paul Robeson House in West Philly, The Block Gives Back, and the Coalition for Black Trans Economic Liberation.
