The War On Drugs is selling hand-signed Soundwave prints to benefit Sweet Relief fund

The live music industry is undeniably in the process of rebounding on the tail end of the COVID-19 pandemic, but for many folks who spent the past 18 months out of work, the struggle is still very real.

To help, Philly-born rock outfit The War on Drugs teamed up with Austin visual artist Tim Wakefield and his Soundwave Art collaborative to artworks prints based on the sound wave patterns of “Red Eyes” and “Thinking of a Place.”

The band announced the collab today on Facebook, noting that frontperson Adam Granduciel hand-signed some of the prints. The band and Soundwaves are selling them now, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which is supporting music industry workers still recovering financially from the pandemic shutdown.
