Ever wonder what it would be like if you could take a trip through the grooves of a record while it was spinning? What would you see? What would you hear? Illustrator and animator Ferry Gouw has done just that for you. What you hear, is a song by James Blake, “Voyeur,” a hypnotic deep groove and dub-divined new song from his forthcoming album, Overgrown, out on April 8th. What you see is some tripped-out animated digitalism – some serious Tron-like escapism in the video – not to mention a spectacular sounding song from Mr. Blake. Watch/listen below.
