The Arcs, the new side project with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, have announced a tour with a stop at the new Fillmore Philly on December 16th.

The Arcs recently released Yours, Dreamily. In addition to Auerbach, the band includes some very heavy hitters. Multi-instrumentalist and sax player Leon Michels is the founder of Truth & Soul Records, leader of the El Michels Affair, has toured with the Black Keys, and co-wrote much of the album with Auerbach. Richard Swift (producer/musician extraordinaire), a member of The Shins, has also toured with The Keys. Drummer Homer Steinweiss plays with Sharon Jones and the Dap- Kings, and bassist Nick Movshon – who also plays with Jones, has worked with Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson, and played bass with Amy Winehouse). Also featured on the album are guitarist Kenny Vaughan and the all female mariachi band, Mariachi Flor de Toloache.

The Arcs’ might just be a one-off-one-off, but it’s a psychedelic soul sensation of a record. And you know the live show will be bumpin’.

Go here for tickets and more information about the show. General public tickets go on sale this Friday, September 25th at 10 a.m.

Below, watch a couple videos of their performance from KCRW via VuHuas.
