José González teams up with the New York classic musical ensemble yMusic on Wednesday, March 24th, for a gig at Verizon Hall in the Kimmel Center.

Gonzalez, the Swedish indie folk singer-songwriter who came to prominence in 2003 with an intimate cover of The Knife’s “Heartbeats”, released Vestiges & Claws earlier this year. yMusic recently collaborated with Ben Folds on his new album So There. For their upcoming performance together, yMusic will open the show and then join Gonzalez to reframe his songs with new chamber orchestral arrangements.
