Over the summer, West Philly’s Grays Ferry Skatepark was once again transformed into the DIY tune-fest: the Skate JawnWhile raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the jawn boasted a rad local lineup including Abi Reimold, Stippling, Doggo, AllegrACurtis Cooper, and Coping Skills.

Now, with the help of the new local non-profit media collective, Dissenter Works, the gig’s philanthropic good-naturedness is being resurrected by ways of a benefit compilation of a few live recordings from the night.

On the comp, Skatepark Jawn, we hear Doggo’s distorted guitar fuzz from their record, Hotel Carlyle, as well as unreleased tracks from Curtis Cooper and AllegrA, via Cooper’s chaotic, live-wire banger, “Freaking Out,” and AllegrA’s reggae-dipped slow-jam, “Prettiest Boy.”

All Bandcamp proceeds from the comp will benefit Puerto Rican relief aid through Unidos por Puerto Rico. So, as always, give what you can, and listen below.
