Listen to Rid of Me cover Sheryl Crow from new cassette out Friday

Rid of Me spent the pandemic working on some short projects, and they’ll release a new two-track cassette single, Last, this Friday. Ahead of the release, the local noise punk quartet of Itarya Rosenberg, Mike McGinnis, Ruben Polo and Mike Howard has shared one of the tracks, a cover of Sheryl Crow’s “If It Makes You Happy.”

Listen to the gritty rendition of the classic pop-country favorite below and pre-order the digital album or limited-edition cassette via Bandcamp and Knife Hits Records. Rid of Me has also been working on their first LP and plans to release it this fall.
