Just six miles west of Center City lies the small borough of Lansdowne, PA, and with its proximity to city things minus the steep city rent prices, the town is turning into a small hub for art and music. That trend will continue this summer with the Open Sound Concert Series — a free bi-weekly outdoor concert series at the Lansdowne Landing park and community space featuring some of the area’s best artists.

Every other Thursday throughout the summer, Landsdowne will bring a lineup of two or three Philly bands out to the suburb nestled along Baltimore Ave., and each musical performance will be followed by the screening of a music-related film. DIY favorites The Goodbye Party will kick things off on June 28, and the following weeks will see a variety of artists perform, from longtime scene favorites Radiator Hospital to newer Philly acts like Strawberry Runners.

Find the full lineup below and visit the XPN Concert Calendar for more information.

7/12: Strawberry Runners / Inspector Moon
7/26: Radiator Hospital / Dream Waste
8/9: Capitalist Youth / Sadurn / Soggy Paws
